Say Cheese

Ava has become quite the ham when taking pictures. She finally looked right in the camera for the first picture. The second one features her with a big smile after saying "cheese". And you probably can't tell from the picture, but her hair is back in a ponytail. Yes, it's true. Her parents have neglected to get her a haircut, so her hair is getting super long, and we love it!!!

Lots of socializing...

Ava was very busy this past week. She had a couple visitors from NYC!! Her Uncle Al and Bachman came to town pre-Derby. It was great to have them here and we hope they will come back very soon. And we LOVE Uncle Al's new facial hair. As for Cody, she spent part of her birthday with us and Ava was super excited. We went to the roller derby to hear Mike play guitar and it was awesome! And we are super excited for baby Grill to arrive. Ava can't wait to hang out with baby!

Millenium Park with Daddy

Ava and Dad spent a nice Sunday afternoon at Millenium Park. Ava loved the water. She was a little timid at first, but eventually she went for it!!

our newest friend

Ava met our new friend Patrick. She can't wait for him to get a little bigger so they can play together. She really enjoyed hanging out with him and Ashley and Mike too.
